Pump and DumpWelcome to today’s Pump and Dump Alerts, where we will be exposing these two companies:  Sagebrush Gold (SAGE) and Varca Ventures (VRCV).

Here we identify a few of the “bogus” promotions going on in penny stocks today.

Without further ado, here are today’s “disasters waiting to happen”:

Sagebrush Gold (SAGE) 

Sagebrush Gold operates as a gold exploration company.  Until October 2010, SAGE was known as Excel Global, Inc.  As Excel Global, the company sold and marketed business software.  SAGE holds mining interests in two California mining projects.

Shares of this penny stock currently trade near $0.55.

Shazam Stocks was paid $110,000 by Future Money Trends, LLC to hype shares of SAGE.

Varca Ventures (VRCV)

Varca Ventures is a mining exploration stage company that engages in the exploration of mineral properties.  The company owns and leases 15 patented lode mining claims.  VRCV has no SEC filings. 

We last exposed a paid promotion of VRCV shares back on December 20, 2011.  At the time, shares were trading at $0.75.  Currently, VRCV is trading at $0.55.

Buzz Stocks was paid $5,000 by Awareness Consulting Network, LLC to pump VRCV shares.

A final word (and warning).

These are just a couple of the current inglorious “pump and dumps”.
