Pump and DumpWelcome to today’s Pump and Dump Alerts, where we will be exposing these two companies: On4 Communications (ONCI) and Plandai Biotechnology (PLPL).

Here we identify a few of the “bogus” promotions going on in penny stocks today.

Without further ado, here are today’s “disasters waiting to happen”:

On4 Communications (ONCI)

On4 is a development stage company operating wireless communications and global positioning systems (GPS).  ONCI’s platform is able to track people, pets, assets, and inventory via web browsers, instant messengers, and mobile phones. 

However, ONCI has recently acquired NetCents and will be focused on self-administered and anonymous online purchases and money transfers. 

As of their latest earnings report, ONCI lost $585,767 for the nine months ending July 31, 2011.  In addition, the company reported having $1,982 in assets and $1.6 million in liabilities over the same period.

The shares currently trade around $0.04.

Epic Stock Picks was paid $17,500 to hype shares of ONCI.

Plandai Biotechnology (PLPL)

Plandai Biotechnology is a newly formed company that plans to use extracts from live plant material in nutritional products. Before becoming PLPL, the company was operated as Diamond Ranch Foods.  A stock ticker symbol change was filed with the SEC on January 5, 2012.

Shares of this penny stock are currently trading near $0.39.

Penny Stock Chief was paid $20,000 to promote shares of PLPL.

These are just a couple of the current inglorious “pump and dumps”.
