Did You Lose Your Shirt On This One?

CoffeeI’ve been writing the Friday Pump & Dump Alerts for some time now.  And it always amazes me what I find.  If you don’t know, Fridays are when we highlight the crazy claims put out by less than honest stock promoters (the Pump & Dumpers).

Their goal is to separate you from your money.

Most of these guys inflate the stock price then sell their shares right into the market.  And they do it at the same time they’re telling you to buy the stock!  Talk about slimy.

Our goal is to warn you about these shysters.

For example, just last week, we exposed two gold mining companies and a drug company all promoting their stock.  The problem… their claims were off the charts.  One of these companies claimed their market was bigger than the entire economy of most countries…

It’s scary how far the claims are from the truth.

Anyway, I took a moment to look back at some of my more obvious comments…

Take for example Jammin Java (JAMN).

Today, this company finds itself in a lot of hot water.  No pun intended.

I brought JAMN to your attention in May.  Back then, majority stockholder Rohan Marley (the son of famed musician Bob Marley) was abusing the family name.

Jammin Java had generated just over $1,000 in revenue, yet the company was valued at a mind boggling $144 million.

The pumpers were all over this one.  The stock was changing hands at $2 a share and quickly jumped to over $5 a share… before crashing down.

Like I thought, it was all a sham.

Today the stock’s trading for $0.60 a share and falling fast.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Last Friday, our government cops finally sprung into action.  The SEC, always late to the party, just announced an investigation.  What are they looking for?

The SEC is investigating to see if the company or third party “has violated the federal securities laws by participating in an unlawful “pump and dump” scheme to artificially inflate Jammin’s stock price.”

Hmmm… maybe the SEC should start reading my articles?

I have a feeling a lot of investors lost their shirt on this one.  I hope you were able to sidestep the landmines and keep your money in your pocket.

If you want to learn more about pump and dump schemes, simply watch for my Pump & Dump Alert articles; they’re published every Friday.

Until next time,
